Mark and Mandi's Love Story - is a charming and cute love story, which is revealed with your help when you find the differences between the pictures, which in turn reveals the differences between Mark and Mandi to help them better understand each other. Mark and Mandi's Love Story is a hidden object game, or more exactly - mostly spot the difference type of game. It also packages in mini-games of the other types.
In the game you play a role of Cupid's assistant, helping Mark and Mandi progress the relationship. Mark and Mandi Love Story is quite a simple game, but the main charm of the game is in the atmosphere, and not in the challenge. The focus of the game is to enjoy the atmosphere, not to challenge you. The game gets somewhat more challenging only after playing through for more than an hour - so the demo will probably feel too simple.
There are four stages in the game, each of them represents Mark and Mandi's relationships period as it progresses. The 1st stage is "Getting to Know You", which is the start of their relationship and the stage where they just start to learn about each other. Then it progresses to their wedding and even past it. Spin the wheel to start game - a random scene (such as date in the restaurant, Mandi's birthday, Mark's computer etc.). Each scene starts off with a dialog between Mark and Mandi, so that you learn a bit more about each of them each time. The dialogs are humorous and romantic, so once getting into it, you will smile and enjoy it a lot.
Mark and Mandi find out the differences between them with each scene, which helps them better understand each other. And your job is to spot all the differences between 2 pictures shown to you, which symbolizes the difference between Mark and Mandi. The quicker you spot all the differences, and the more differences in a row you find (without doing incorrect clicks), the more "wishes" you will get. You can spend these wishes (which are basically game's points) between the scenes in the stage's garden to add more hidden objects to the scenes, or to progress through the stage by buying milestones. The stage finishes when you buy all 3 milestones, which progresses Mark and Mandi's relationship to the next stage.
Each scene has two mini-games - the first one is spot the difference, which has been already described. And the second mini-game is Match-making: you have to match image pieces from the left image to the right image (just click one image piece at the left, and the same image piece at the right). There is also a special bonus level at each stage added for variety (shown red in the spin wheel). Instead of spotting the differences, in the bonus level you have to spot the similarities. A refreshing change! Just find what's common in the 2 images shown to you and click on the similar objects. There are also more mini-games between the stages.
Conclusions: Mark and Mandi's Love Story is a great game to feel the cute and romantic atmosphere. This game won't challenge you - it's simple and will let you just enjoy it as you play it.
