Following in the footsteps of the popular Ready to Rumbe Round 1 and Ready 2 Rumbe Round 2. Atari is introducing the next installment for the Nintendo Wii, Ready 2 Rumble Revolution. This eagerly anticipated title will allow players to take control of one of 18 possible celebrity personas and put them through their paces in the Boxing Ring. Rumour has it that the likes of Brad Pitt, Simon Cowl, David Beckham and John Travolta will appear in Rumble allowing players to punch their overpaid smug little avatars till your heart is content. Hey, who hasn't wanted to take a cheap shot at a Brad Pitt at one time or another? With the able to customize your prize fighter, its worth the upgrade over the Wii sports boxing and is a no brainer in our opinion.
Utilizing the motion sensitive controls players will be able to; duck, weave and punch their way to victory in the square circle. The control system for Ready 2 Rumble Revolution will allow players to use the nunchuk controller to be used as one boxing glove and the Wii remote as the other. Using this intuitive control system you have a variety or Special moves combos and extreme knockdowns allowing you to wreck havoc on you victims, and you are rewarded with rich damage textures depending on the pounding you are giving or taking.
Players will be able to fight their way through eight different game modes including: Arcade, Quick Fight, Team Fight, Tournament, Championship, Mini Game, Tutorial and Create a Boxer modes. The all new championship mode will allow players to create their own custom boxer and then start the tedious task developing their boxers skills through lots of min games.
All the action is hosted by the legendary Michael Buffer ("LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE") adding to the whole gaming package.
Ready 2 Rumble Revolution is scheduled to hit store shelves in March 2009, be sure to check it out.
