There is no debate or disagreement that exercise is vitally important for your total well being. Everyone from our personal doctors to the TV pundits agree that we need to get up and get going. The one thing that most disagree on is how we go about getting that exercise.
Everyone I know has at one time decided to start an exercise program, and for a while we stick to it. Until it becomes a boring process and then we find every excuse to put it off. If you disagree with me on that, please look around your house, and tell me if there is any unused exercise equipment that sits collecting dust. I apologize if I'm wrong, you are an exception.
The truth is we need an exercise program that is fun and stimulates us, one that doesn't require that we go to the health club, or dedicate a whole room to exercise equipment that doesn't get used. That is where the Nintendo Wii Fit comes in.
The Nintendo Wii Fit is an add on option for the popular Nintendo Wii game system. The difference is that the Wii Fit is specifically designed to help us, help our selves. So instead of a mindless game, the Wii challenges us to perform regular exercise.
The Wii Fit has four basic functions, yoga, balance games, strength training and aerobic training. The Wii program starts with you creating a profile. The profile measures your center of balance, your body mass index, and your body control. The results of these measurements help the system to create your Wii fitness age.
Your profile also includes a Mii, which is a caricature that resembles you and helps guide you thru the exercise program. If you select the yoga portion of the training, your Mii will demonstrate how to perform each pose. If you get confused, you simply back it up.
The Wii Fit has proven itself to be beneficial to all who have used it. And would make a great addition to your Nintendo gaming system. Get back on track with your exercise program and have some fun doing it. The Nintendo Wii Fit may be just what you need to get in shape. It's never too soon to start.
